Description: This will be our third year of taking the month of May to honor ourselves. This is such an important part of healing from or living with a chronic illness, pain and fatigue. 
Our first presenter is Elaine Merryfield from Navigating Life with Fibromyalgia. Elaine is a lovely, gentle soul who has walked the path of fibromyalgia patient, herself. She will be teaching some mindfulness and stress management techniques.
We will also have Lynne Marshall-Brook, from Tigard Physical Therapy, teach us some myofascial massage techniques she calls “body rolling” or “ball rolling”. These are techniques that can be used at home.
We are also excited that this year we will feature Jennifer Hofmann from Inspired Home Office. If you didn’t hear her talk when she visited us before, you might be wondering what an “office expert” can teach us. Well, Tami Stackelhouse says everything she learned about self-care, she learned from Jennifer Hofmann. That is saying a lot! Jennifer will be covering the importance of self-care and will help us create a self-care action plan.
We will have gluten free cupcakes, coffee and tea service — and multiple door prizes!
